Lonnie Holley Publicizes New Album That includes Bon Iver, Sharon Van Etten, R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, and Extra

Lonnie Holley has introduced his new album, Oh Me Oh My. It’s due out March 10 by way of Jagjaguwar. It options visitor appearances from Moor Mom, Rokia Koné, Jeff Parker, and labelmates Sharon Van Etten and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver. Holley recorded the album with producer Jacknife Lee. Of the method, he stated in a press release:

My artwork and my music are at all times intently tied to what’s occurring round me, and the previous couple of years have given me rather a lot to thoughtsmith about. Once I pay attention again to those songs I can really feel the occasions we had been residing by means of. I’m deeply appreciative of the collaborators, particularly Jacknife, who helped the songs take form and actually impressed me to dig deeper inside myself.

Holley’s earlier full-length was the 2021 collaborative album with Matthew E. White Damaged Mirror: A Selfie Reflection. He shared Nationwide Freedom in 2020.
