The Comfortable Pink Fact Broadcasts New Album, Shares New Track “Wanna Know”

Drew Daniel has introduced the brand new Comfortable Pink Fact album Is It Going to Get Any Deeper Than This?, which comes out on October 21 through Thrill Jockey. The brand new album’s lead single, “Wanna Know,” options visitor vocals from Jenn Wasner (of Wye Oak and Flock of Dimes). Further contributors to the brand new LP embody Daniel’s Matmos bandmate M.C. In a press launch, Drew Daniel defined the genesis of his new album’s title:

Years in the past, a buddy was DJing in a membership and a girl got here into the DJ sales space and requested, “Is it going to get any deeper than this?” and the phrase turned a form of mantra for us. What did she really need? This album was created as an try to think about potential musical responses to her query.

On August 19, Daniel will launch a brand new EP known as Was It Ever Actual? (through Thrill Jockey).
